Troy, Mich. – Delphi Product & Service Solutions, part of Delphi Corporation (NYSE: DPH), announced today it has received i·SHOP (AAIA Open Industry Standards) certification, providing an industry standard for its new, patented DS800 computer-implemented diagnostic system, which includes drivers seat diagnostics. The DS800 Platform will be featured along with an exciting new product portfolio, November 5 - 8, at the 2002 Automotive Aftermarket Products Expo (AAPEX) in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The DS800 solution -- a finalist for the 2003 Automotive News PACE™ Award -- provides a wireless network for technicians and service personnel to remotely access diagnostic information, technical data and training at the vehicle on a just-in-time basis.

Delphi is the first company to become certified since the i·SHOP standards were established and Delphi's certification is viewed as a strong point of validation of the standards according to AAIA leadership. "Delphi's i·SHOP certification demonstrates the usability and the ease of coding of these standards to all the other companies not involved in the development," said Russ Bailey, Delphi Integrated Service Solutions managing director. "In addition, the enabling of i·SHOP standards to the DS800 provides interconnectivity to dissimilar automotive service products and applications, which will be demonstrated 'live' at the AAPEX show."
